Grant funding can make on-farm improvements more affordable. But finding, applying for, and managing grants is time-consuming.

Our collaborative pilot with LASSO reduces the cost, complexity, and time involved in the grant process. Qualified customers receive LASSO’s end-to-end grant-writing service, starting with a search for publicly funded grants that best align with a planned project. As customers progress through the grant process, LASSO handles the paperwork and helps ensure grant requirements are met.

Qualifying customers pay $500 for LASSO’s services. We pay the remaining 90% of LASSO’s fees.

Public grants at the federal, state, or local level provide financing for a range of sustainability projects, including:

On-farm post-harvest handling, aggregation, processing, manufacturing, storing, distribution, and sale of locally and regionally produced food products.
