As a cooperative, our Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing and approving individuals hired to the leadership team to ensure their talents and strengths align with the needs of the Association.

Executive Leadership Team
Mark Jensen
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mark serves as the president and CEO for Farm Credit Services of America, AgCountry Farm Credit Services, and Frontier Farm Credit, which operate under a collaborative, joint management arrangement. Mark has held the CEO post for the past seven years, after serving as senior vice president and chief risk officer. Mark grew up on a farm and has more than 32 years of agricultural lending experience.
Wes Chambers
Executive Vice President - Retail Business Development
Wes was named executive vice president - retail business development in March 2026 previously serving as senior vice president. He provides strategic leadership to retail lending, retail insurance, and sales enablement teams. Wes has more than 25 years of experience of leading engaged sales teams focused on delivering value through a customer centric approach. Wes earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from South Dakota State University.
Shane Frahm
Executive Vice President - Corporate Business Development
Shane was named executive vice president - corporate business development in March 2026. He joined FCSAmerica in 1994 and previously served as senior vice president. Shane provides strategic direction to the corporate business development team, which delivers more than $30+ billion in capital to the food and agribusiness sectors. He was raised on a row-crop farm in south-central Nebraska and remains as a partner in the operation. Shane earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University, and an MBA from Indiana University.
Jessica Fyre
Executive Vice President – Chief Administrative Officer
Jessica was named executive vice president – chief administrative officer in 2024. She leads human resources, organizational development, business training, corporate services, along with credit review and compliance. Jessica previously served as chief operations officer and general counsel within the Farm Credit System, where she provided executive and strategic direction to the lending operations, business applications, information technology and legal teams, and served as the principal legal advisor to the board of directors.
Tim Koch
Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer
Tim was named chief banking officer in March 2026 previously serving as executive vice president of business development. In this capacity, Tim provides strategic leadership to the credit, operations and business development teams including AgDirect, retail business development, corporate business development, insurance services and Public Relations and marketing. Previously, Tim served as a national bank examiner with the Comptroller of the Currency.
Jackie Martinie
Executive Vice President – Chief Operations Officer
Jackie was named chief credit and operating officer in 2022. She leads the appraisal team and all operations. Jackie previously served at Farm Credit Illinois, as chief credit officer she provided executive and strategic direction to credit, loan operations, diversified markets, and organizational development. She joined the Farm Credit System in 2010 after spending the early part of her career in commercial banking.
Krista McDonald
Executive Vice President – Chief Strategy Officer
Krista joined FCSAmerica in 2015 as vice president of strategy and innovation. In that role, she was responsible for strategic planning, customer experience and fostering a culture of innovation. She later launched the Sales Enablement team. She was named chief strategy officer in 2020 and today leads strategic planning, customer insights, digital strategy and innovation, strategy enablement, product management and experience design. Krista previously worked at ConAgra Foods as a brand director and served as a Washington D.C.-based agricultural policy aide for a Colorado congressional district.
John Morrow
Executive Vice President – General Counsel
John was appointed executive vice president and general counsel in February 2025. His previous role was senior vice president and general counsel at AgriBank, which serves as the funding bank for several Farm Credit associations. Prior, he served as an associate general counsel for Farm Credit Services of America for several years before taking the position at AgriBank. John has a diverse legal background, including service as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps. He earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Jon "JP" Peterson
Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer
Jon was named executive vice president, chief financial officer in November 2024 and previously served as senior vice president, Financial Planning and Analysis. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services working with business leaders, linking metrics to the financials to help tell the story. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE and completed the Emerging CFO program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Greg Salton
Executive Vice President – Chief Risk and Credit Officer
Greg was named chief risk and credit officer in 2024. He provides strategic leadership to credit and risk teams including retail credit, corporate credit, and operational risk. Greg has more than 25 years of experience providing leadership and practical solutions in enterprise and credit risk management, business process, portfolio management, and data and analytics to enable organizational competencies.
Mark Vetter
Executive Vice President – AgCountry Business Development
Mark was named executive vice president of business development for AgCountry in 2025. He provides strategic leadership to the AgCountry business development teams, including retail lending, retail and commercial insurance, business services, and legislative and public affairs. His career began in 2010 as an AgCountry Farm Credit Services loan officer intern and has since advanced through various roles, including branch manager, sales leader, and most recently, regional vice president retail lending for southeastern North Dakota. Mark is passionate about agriculture and committed to the mission of Farm Credit and leading the AgCountry business development team.
Russ Wagner
Executive Vice President – Chief Information Officer
Russ was named chief information officer in 2020. He leads data, infrastructure and platforms, IT support, application development and security. He joined FCSAmerica in 1997 and has led technology, security, communications, and cross-functional teams. Previously, Russ was chief technology officer responsible for technology strategies, project priorities and enterprise risk reporting.
