Why we chose a career in agriculture

Clint: I’ve always been involved in agriculture. I rode in the tractor a lot growing up because that’s where I wanted to be. I went to college and then came back to the family farm. It’s been my calling my whole life.

Corinne: I was also raised around farming and ranching. I learned to count by counting cattle with my dad. I knew early on I wanted to marry a farmer and that this was the life I wanted.

Our relationship with Farm Credit

Corinne: Our loan officer knows our industry and the ins and outs of farming and ranching. It’s really nice working with somebody who gets what we do. We don’t have to explain anything to him. He knows the markets and understands what we’re talking about.

Meeting our goals

Corinne: We have been able to improve our operation because our loan officer has always had faith in us. He supports our desire to grow and has found ways for us to continue to grow and expand. That has been a huge goal of ours and it’s been fun meeting our goals because of the assistance we have received from Farm Credit.

Top-of-the-line technology

Clint: Frontier Farm Credit is top-of-the-line when it comes to technology. They’re always looking to do more and be competitive with their tools. When we were first introduced to Farm Credit, I was a little concerned about the distance between our location and our loan officer. But the technology they use has made that distance obsolete.

What we enjoy most about farming

Clint: I have five uncles in the area, and they all brought a son back to the farm. I was the last one back. Having the experience of a true family farm where we work and play together is something I’ll never forget.

Corinne: My dream has always been to raise my children in this lifestyle. Being able to have our four daughters alongside us, instilling work ethic and caring for our animals, is by far the most enjoyable thing I get to do.
