MANHATTAN, KANSAS – Frontier Farm Credit stockholders re-elected the following three agricultural producers to the financial cooperative’s Board of Directors:

Lee Mueller of Hiawatha, Kansas, is the owner of Laus Creek Trucking, LLC, president of Laus Creek Farm Inc., and raises corn and soybeans. He was elected to the Frontier Farm Credit Board in 2015; his current term begins April 1, 2020, and runs through March 31, 2021.

Shane Tiffany of Allen, Kansas, is president of Tiffany Cattle Co., Inc., a custom cattle feeding operation, Tiffany Holdings, L.L.C., an agriculture land holding company, and Tiffany Enterprises, L.L.C., a real estate investment company. He is vice president of Tiffany Family Farms, L.L.C., a farming operation raising primarily corn and wheat. He also has minority ownership in OWNX, L.L.C., a gold and silver investment company. Tiffany was elected to the Frontier Farm Credit Board in 2017; his current term begins April 1, 2020, and runs through March 31, 2022.

Bill Miller of Council Grove, Kansas, is president of ABCD2 Cattle Co., L.L.C., a cattle feeding business, and co-owner of Miller Ranch, a ranch on which he and his wife run commercial Angus cows. He previously served as vice president of communications for U.S. Premium Beef, L.L.C.  Miller serves on the CoBank Nominating Committee, is vice chairman of the Morris County Hospital board and sits on the Council Grove Community High School mentoring board.  Miller was elected to the Frontier Farm Credit Board in 2006; his current term begins April 1, 2020, and runs through March 31, 2023.

Frontier Farm Credit is governed by a Board of Directors that reflects the diversity of agriculture in the Association’s territory of eastern Kansas. Effective April 1, 2020, the Board will consist of three Directors elected by customer-owners and one appointed by the Board to provide an outside perspective.

Previously, the Board consisted of six elected Directors. Ronald Dunbar of Princeton, Kansas, was elected to the Board in 2003. Due to term limits, he was ineligible for re-election in 2020. Also leaving the Board are Jennifer Gehrt of Alma, Kansas, and Steve Powers of Chanute, Kansas. Gehrt was first elected to the Board in 2011 and Powers in 2010. The Board and Association leadership are thankful for their many years of service to the Association and its customer-owners.

The terms of current Directors are staggered to allow for the election of at least one Director annually.
