Race 1:
Terry Reschke, Hiawatha, KS
I have a farming operation that consists of corn, soybeans, hay and feeder cattle. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University. I am on the Growers National Crop Insurance board of directors, and I am the chairman on the Association’s Nominating Committee.

Jeffery Van Horn, Baldwin City, KS
I have a small cow herd and small grain operation. After a long career with the Association, including working on the leadership team and as staff member to the Board’s strategic relations committee, I retired a few years ago. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Emporia State University. I am also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Coaching program.


Race 2:
Abby Amick, Alma, KS
My husband and I have a cow-calf operation, where we are raising our three children. We farm a few acres for silage and manage alfalfa, brome and prairie hay ground. In addition, I do bookkeeping for farm clients at Varney & Associates, CPAs, LLC and manage The Volland Store, an art gallery and event center. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Master of Science degree in Agribusiness from Kansas State University. I currently serve as a board member on the Wabaunsee County Extension Council, as a board member on the Kansas Agri-Women board, as treasurer for the Holy Family Altar Society and on the Association’s Nominating Committee.

Jodi Guetterman, Bucyrus, KS
My husband and I operate a row crop farm with his father and three brothers. The operation includes a bonded elevator and seed and chemical retailer. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Milling Science and Management from Kansas State University. My husband and I have four children. I currently serve as the secretary and treasurer of the Queen of the Holy Rosary-Wea Catholic Youth Organization and on the Association’s Nominating Committee.


Race 3:
Armon Bosse, Jr. (JR), Onaga, KS
I have a cattle operation with my wife, and we provide custom feeding for our neighbors. In addition, we have row crops and hay that are harvested to be fed through the feedlot. I have attended numerous continuing education courses for hay and grazing, marketing, cattle-handling and treatment, bookkeeping, animal health, conservation and manure control. I am certified in chemical usage and have a commercial driver’s license. I currently serve on the Pottawatomie County Planning and Zoning Commission and on the Association’s Nominating Committee.

Jeff Koelzer, Onaga, KS
I am a seed dealer for Asgrow and DEKALB. In addition, I have a farming operation that includes corn and soybeans and a cow-calf operation. I graduated from Onaga High School and attended Kansas State University. I am currently the president for the Unified School District (USD) 322 Board, the trustee for the Neuchatel Township and the vice president for the Knights of Columbus Council #3185.


Race 4:
Amy Langvardt, Alta Vista, KS
I am a co-owner of Lyons Ranch, a three-generation registered Angus cow-calf ranch in the Flint Hills with my husband, parents and sons. With my in-laws, my husband and I own two livestock auction markets, JC and Clay Center Livestock Sales. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Communications from Kansas State University. I am a board member and an Education Committee chair for the Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom.

Gary Robbins, Emmett, KS
I have a farming operation that includes corn, beans, wheat and hay. I have a large acreage that is mainly no-till. I also background steers and heifers. I graduated from Onaga High School and attended Kansas State University. I received an electrical certification from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 226 in Topeka, Kansas. I currently serve as treasurer for the Kansas Soybean Association.


Race 5:
Jeffrey Badger, Carbondale, KS
I operate a cash grain farm growing corn, beans and wheat. We utilize no till, grid sampling, variable rate fertilizer application and other current technology. I am also a contractor specializing in electrical work. I attended Washburn University, and I received a technical electrical certification from Kaw Valley Vocational School. I currently serve on the Rural Water District #5 Board in Osage County, the Board of Directors for the Public Wholesale Water Supply District No. 25 Board and the Association’s Nominating Committee.

Connie Mushrush, Strong City, KS
Mushrush Red Angus is a family owned purebred Red Angus supplier. In addition, we purchase customer heifers for our commercial bred heifer program. We are actively involved in the beef industry from birth to the finished product. We embrace best technology and management systems. I have an Associate degree in Agriculture from Colby Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University and am certified for Beef Quality Assurance. I currently serve as a regional board representative and the chairman of promotions for the Red Angus Association of America (RAAA). I am a committee member on the RAAA to study current voting procedure.
