Disability insurance protects your ability to earn a living. If you become disabled, you will receive payments based on your policy benefit amount to help to cover living expenses. The majority of agricultural work injuries (61%) occurred to the operator of the farm or a farm family member. Despite these alarming facts, a large percentage do not have disability insurance.
